Chat Rooms Add Message Rate Limiting and All-Member Mute

Chat rooms now support per-room message rate limiting plus all-member and group-level mute, so operations teams can preset thresholds before an event peak and avoid the message pile-up that flooding causes.

Cloud Recording Adds individual Mode, Keeping the Original Stream of Each Speaker

Alongside composite recording, cloud recording now supports individual mode, producing a separate audio and video file for each speaker, which makes later editing and content reuse easier.

Private Deployment Adds Offline Internal Upgrade Packages, on Your Schedule

Offline upgrade packages carry complete dependencies and a checksum list, so versions can be upgraded and rolled back in a physically isolated environment; an environment check script is provided before the upgrade.

Chat Rooms and Co-Hosting at Peak, without the Message Pile-Up

Challenge
During an event the chat room filled up instantly, and message traffic and co-hosting requests competed for the same capacity, producing clustered complaints about stalls and lost messages.
Approach
The chat room carried public chat with rate limiting configured, co-hosting went over SFU relay, and sensitive-word review ran up front so violations were blocked at the entrance.
Result
Public chat stayed orderly through the peak, co-hosting video stayed stable, and operations could adjust the mute policy from the admin backend in real time.

Small Classes with Screen Sharing: Interaction and Replay in One Place

Challenge
Courseware was presented through a third-party meeting tool, while class chat and replay lived elsewhere, so the student experience was fragmented.
Approach
Multi-party meetings carried class video, screen sharing presented courseware, IM handled class chat and mute, and cloud recording kept a replay archive.
Result
Attending, interacting and replaying all happen in the same App, and students who missed a class can watch the recording directly.

In-Vehicle IM and Remote Video Assessment That Work on Poor Networks

Challenge
In-vehicle networks switch constantly while driving, and a dropped support conversation meant describing the problem again; on-site assessment needed someone to be present.
Approach
The head unit reused the Android SDK to integrate IM, with automatic reconnects and message backfill; assessment moved to 1v1 video calls with recording kept as evidence.
Result
Conversations recover automatically in tunnels and basements, and assessment moved from on-site to remote.
